The role emphasizes clinical triage by phone, documentation in the EMR, and post-operative follow-up, with a focus on patient-centered care and efficient surgical readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current Tennessee LPN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of surgical scheduling for breast surgery patients.
• Enter provider-directed orders and ensure documentation in the EMR.
• Provide symptom management triage and patient education by phone.
• Coordinate post-operative follow-up and communications among patients and providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support workflow improvements.
