Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited LPN nursing program.
• Current SC Board of Nursing licensure at the LPN level.
• One year of clinical experience working with oncology patients.
• Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills.
• Some knowledge of computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data entry of patient tests and orders as directed by physicians.
• Review charts prior to appointments to ensure documentation is complete.
• Triage patient concerns via telephone.
• Escort patients and prepare them for physician visits.
• Schedule ancillary services and coordinate tests.
• Administer injections when necessary.
• Educate patients and provide medical education materials.
