Qualifications

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse licensed in Indiana.
• Minimum 1 year LPN experience, preferably hospital and behavioral health.
• BLS certification obtained within 1 month of hire.
• Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Team player with professional appearance and attitude.
• Strong ethics, integrity and customer relations skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer literacy and experience with EMR.
• Knowledge of behavioral medicine treatment delivery.
• Sound clinical judgment and decision-making.
• Ability to understand the needs of the clientele.

Responsibilities

• Timely and complete medical record documentation.
• Use clinical judgment to deliver safe patient care.
• Oral and written communication of patient progress.
• Be on call for patients and staff as needed.
• Participation in Peer Review processes.
• Collaborate with Behavioral Health Technicians and assist as needed.
• Adhere to facility policies, state & federal law, and Joint Commission standards.
