Job summary

Hickory Recovery in Lawrence, IN seeks a Floor Nurse (LPN/RN) to provide healthcare for adults with addictions and behavioral health issues. Under the Director of Nursing, the nurse will perform comprehensive assessments on intake and develop care plans including orders, medications, education and treatments.

This full-time on-site role offers competitive hourly pay of $29–$33, 401k, health and vision insurance, PTO and holiday pay.

Qualifications

Valid LPN or RN license from an accredited school of Nursing.
Prior hospital and behavioral health experience preferred.
BLS certification obtained within 1 month prior to hire.
Ability to maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Team player with professional appearance and ethics.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Computer literacy and ability to use an EMR.
Knowledge of behavioral medicine treatment delivery.
Sound clinical judgment and decision-making.
Understanding the requirements of the clientele.

Responsibilities

Clinical Assessments & Monitoring: Performs nursing assessments on admission and intake assessments.
Evaluates clients on an ongoing basis to ensure medical needs are met.
Performs CIWA and COWS assessments and pain assessments.
Conducts point-of-care urinalysis and pregnancy screens; glucose monitoring.
