Spring Arbor Senior Living in Athens, TN is seeking an energetic LPN Wellness Nurse to support Assisted Living residents. As a nurse, you’ll lead care teams, advocate for residents, and contribute to daily well-being.

You’ll supervise care delivery, administer medications, ensure regulatory compliance, and communicate with families and providers. The role offers both full-time and part-time options with a supportive, compassionate team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the state licensing agency.
• CPR/AED certified.
• Must have at least one year of experience as an LPN in a senior care setting.
• Criminal background screening required.
• Must comply with Drug Free Workplace policy.
• Experience with computerized resident documentation systems is a plus.

• Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned non-licensed associates, monitoring resident conditions and demonstrating decisive decision-making.
• Make work assignments and meet regularly with associates to identify and address problems and improve care and services.
• Deliver resident care according to healthcare provider orders, regulatory requirements, recognized nursing practice, and Company policy.
• Accurately administer prescribed medications, oversee continuity of resident care, respond to changes in condition, and perform first aid as needed.

The Wellness Nurse supervises the delivery of care and services to residents, performing procedures within state and local regulations and accepted standards of care. What You'll Do

• Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned non-licensed associates, monitoring resident conditions in Assisted Living and demonstrating strong decision-making
• Make work assignments and meet regularly with associates to identify and address problem areas and improve care and services
• Deliver resident care according to healthcare provider orders, regulatory requirements, recognized nursing practice, and Company policy
• Accurately administer prescribed medications, oversee continuity of resident care, respond to changes in condition, and perform first aid as needed

What You Bring

• At least 18 years of age
• Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the state licensing agency
• CPR/AED certification
• 1+ year of experience as an LPN in a senior care setting
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening
• Willingness to comply with our drug-free workplace policy
• Experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus

Areas of Responsibility

• Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned non-licensed associates and other designated personnel in meeting the residents needs and monitor the condition of residents in AL. Demonstrate good decision-making skills.
• Make work assignments and meet with associates regularly to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas, and/or the improvement of care and services.
• Provide resident care according to health care providers orders and in accordance with regulatory requirements, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and Company policy.
• Accurately administer prescribed medications, supervise the continuity of resident care, respond to changes in resident condition, medications, or other circumstances requiring special care needs and perform first aid as required.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the state licensing agency, as required by state regulations.
• CPR/AED certified.
• Must have at least one (1) year of experience working as an LPN in a senior care setting.
• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
• The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
• Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.
