LPN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Join us for the LPN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) role at CommuniCare Health Services.

Position Overview

We are a leading healthcare company with multiple facilities across Ohio, currently recruiting an LPN Assistant Director of Nursing to join the leadership team at a facility in the Cincinnati, OH area.

The LPN Assistant Director of Nursing assists the DON in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Nursing Department.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Current LPN license in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of a Nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or graduation from an approved LPN program.
  • At least 5 years of LPN Nursing Supervisory experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Long Term Care and Behavioral Health.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, standards, laws, regulations, and guidelines related to long-term care.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when required.
  • Effective tactful communication with team members, staff, residents, families, visitors, government agencies, and the public.
  • Leadership, teaching, and supervisory skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, policies, and procedures to ensure quality care.
