Overview

The LPN - ADON / Health & Wellness Coordinator manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community, ensuring residents' healthcare needs are met with respect and dignity. The role guarantees consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts, which may involve assuming responsibilities of a Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet residents' needs and staffing requirements.

Responsibilities

1. Supervise licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers; provide ongoing training and education, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training. Manage staff schedules.
2. Oversee medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision or administration; conduct periodic medication skills inventory checks and audits per Brookdale Guidelines.
3. Share on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

• Education required to obtain a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
• Minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience.
• LPN or LVN license.
