Kindred Hospital Dayton and Behavioral Health Unit in Dayton, OH seeks an LPN to provide nursing care under RN supervision, following established standards and hospital policies. The role involves administering medications, participating in plan of care, and communicating patient needs to the team.

The position requires an accredited LPN program graduate with an active LPN license and BLS certification; ACLS may be needed in some areas.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• IV Therapy and Blood Certifications preferred.
• ACLS may be required in certain care areas.
• Minimum six months' acute care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Administers medications and treatments under RN supervision.
• Communicates patient status and changes to RN.
• Educates patients and families on pain management.
• Performs nursing duties within scope and follows care plan.
• Assists with examinations and procedures as directed.
• Ensures patient safety and reduces care errors.
• Collaborates with Social Services for discharge planning.
• Maintains professional interactions with patients and families.
