Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state LPN license
• Current CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Visit residents daily to observe and evaluate health status and notify charge nurse or physician when changes occur.
• Identify resident problems and emergencies and initiate immediate lifesaving measures if a physician is unavailable.
• Provide holistic care for residents within the LPN scope of practice.
• Assist in monitoring medications, supplies, and equipment to ensure adequate availability.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing forms, reports, and charting as necessary.
• Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, and hazardous materials per policy.
