Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse to work with a gtube pediatric patient in their own home. Schedule: 9a-5p Monday-Friday. Starting pay is $33–$35 per hour with competitive benefits and weekly paychecks.

The LPN will provide skilled nursing care in the patient’s home, following prescribed orders, and collaborate with a care team to Assess, Plan, Implement, and Evaluate patient needs. 1 year of nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in NC.
• TB test or Chest X-ray on file.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year prior nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
