Job summary

Living Branches currently seeks per diem LPNs/RNs to join our caregiving team in Souderton, PA. Build meaningful relationships with residents as you provide consistent care and support.

PRN nurses must cover at least 2 weekend shifts per month and 1 winter and 1 summer holiday. More hours are available as needed, with opportunities to grow and engage with a welcoming community.

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania RN or LPN license.
• CPR certification required.
• 2-4 years nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA rules and long-term care guidelines.
• Ability to supervise unlicensed staff and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident needs and develop individual care plans.
• Administer nursing care and evaluate outcomes.
• Supervise care provided by unlicensed staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate patient care.

PRN nurses are required to work a minimum of 2 weekend shifts a month, 1 winter holiday of their choosing and 1 summer holiday of their choosing. However, you can always pick up more hours!

Per Diem LPN/RN Overview:

• The RN/LPN utilizes the nursing process, procedures and techniques to perform various duties such as assessing resident needs, developing individual care plans, administering nursing care, evaluating nursing care, and supervising and directing care provided by unlicensed nursing staff in the delivery of nursing care to render general health care within scope of practice.
• This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by others under their direction
• Knowledge of HIPPA rules and regulations and of regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
• Strong managerial and communication skills to provide guidance and direction, set performance standards, monitor performance of subordinates and build trust among team members
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, has ability to prioritize work and to address emergencies as they may occur
• Valid Pennsylvania RN or LPN
• CPR certified
• 2-4 years nursing experience (Preferred)
