Job summary

New Day Recovery in Missouri is seeking a compassionate LPN to provide resident care, perform assessments, wound care, and assist with admissions and discharges.

You will lead CNAs and CMTs, follow facility protocols, respond to emergencies, and document findings. We offer Health, Dental, Disability, and Vision Insurance, a 401(k), PTO, EAP, life insurance, Telemedicine, Mayo Clinic programs, and more.

Qualifications

• Must hold a licensed practical nurse (LPN) credential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and document findings per protocol.
• Manage admissions: complete assessments, MAR, TAR, POS, and orders.
• Coordinate discharges: documentation and transportation arrangements.
• Provide wound care per protocol, including irrigation and dressing changes.
• Lead CNAs and CMTs to ensure compliance with facility policies.
• Respond effectively to emergencies.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct assessments, follow protocol, report medical or behavioral changes, and document findings
• Perform admission duties: complete assessment, MAR, TAR, POS, review chart set-up, physician orders, and order medications
• Manage discharges: complete documentation, notify physician and guardian, and arrange transportation
• Provide wound care: follow protocols, irrigate, pack, and remove dressings
• Lead CNAs and CMTs, ensuring compliance with facility protocols and policies
• Respond effectively to emergency situations
