Job summary

Sagora Senior Living seeks a compassionate LPN for Elison Assisted Living of Oxford. This part-time, PRN position covers weekend shifts (7a-3p) providing high-quality care to residents and supporting daily living activities.

You will work within a team that values dignity, independence, and resident-first care, while following policies and contributing to a safe, supportive environment for seniors.

Qualifications

• Current license as an LPN in the state of employment.
• 1+ years of LPN experience in an Assisted Living or Memory Care setting.
• Familiarity with drug actions and interactions; accurate assessment skills.
• Patience and courtesy when dealing with residents and families.
• Desire to work with seniors to maintain function; good decision making.
• Ability to assist with resident transfers without compromising safety.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and safe resident care services.
• Promote residents' physical and emotional health and educate on medical care.
• Comply with Assisted Living policies and procedures.
• Provide personal care reflecting each resident's plan of service.
• Follow infection control and safety policies.
• Observe resident conditions and report to the Resident Services Coordinator.
• Evaluate emergencies and determine actions per guidelines.

What does a LPN at Sagora do?

• Patience and courtesy in dealing with residents and families
• Desire to work with seniors to maintain the optimum level of function
• Decision making and communication skills
• Ability to assist with transfer of residents regardless of body weight without endangering the resident, self, or other associates
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and other associates in English
