Job summary

Maxim Healthcare seeks a licensed practical nurse (LPN/LVN) in Michigan to provide skilled nursing care on assignments, following orders and applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.

On each assignment, you will deliver patient care, document activities, and monitor changes in patient condition. Eligible candidates have an active LPN/LVN license, current TB/Chest X-ray, and a current BLS card.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.


• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders


• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.


• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
