Job summary

Bibb Medical Center's Nursing Home is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team. The LPN delivers quality nursing care to residents and supports a multidisciplinary team to promote well-being under Bibb Medical Center policies. Requirements include graduation from an accredited LPN program, active Alabama LPN license, and CPR/BLS certification.

One year geriatric experience is preferred. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Qualifications

As an important member of our nursing team, the LPN delivers quality nursing care to our residents, as well as provides care and services to allow residents to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Bibb Medical Center policies and procedures. Duties include monitoring and reporting changes in the resident’s condition, and assigning duties, instructing, and providing clinical supervision to CNAs.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited LPN program.
• Currently licensed/registered in Alabama. Must maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred but not required.
• CPR or BLS certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. Must remain current during employment.
