Job summary

Safety National is seeking an LPM Analyst III in our Information Technology department in Saint Louis, MO. You will create and manage IT KPIs, dashboards, and portfolio reports to drive informed decisions and optimize value across the enterprise.

You will work with agile tools, NICUS, Power BI, and Lean Portfolio Management practices; collaborate with stakeholders, and lead initiatives from strategy to delivery while supporting budget processes and cost tracking.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Lean Portfolio Management, project management, or related fields
  • Expert knowledge of Lean Portfolio Management and SAFe
  • Experience with Power BI or another reporting tool
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Hybrid schedule with minimum 3 days per week in Saint Louis, MO office

Role Description:

As an LPM Analyst III, you will play a pivotal role in connecting IT strategy, portfolio performance, financial insights, and business priorities to help drive informed decision-making across the enterprise. You'll lead the creation, management, and communication of IT-specific KPIs and metrics, working with stakeholders to ensure performance measures are actionable, clearly understood, and directly connected to business value.

In this role, you'll leverage agile tooling, NICUS, Power BI, and portfolio data to develop dashboards and visualizations that provide real-time visibility into IT performance, costs, risks, and outcomes. You'll help manage and monitor IT budget processes, partner with Finance and leadership to forecast spending and track costs, and integrate financial metrics into portfolio reporting to support effective resource allocation and identify opportunities for savings.

You'll also put Lean Portfolio Management principles into practice by translating IT and business strategies into actionable portfolios and initiatives. Working across teams, you'll prioritize initiatives, monitor portfolio performance, proactively address risks and dependencies, and partner with Value Stream Owners and business architecture teams to integrate IT value streams into enterprise roadmaps. You'll help optimize agile tooling, promote consistent best practices, facilitate strategic conversations with IT and business leaders, and continuously improve LPM processes. Qualifications:
Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5 or more years of experience in Lean Portfolio Management, project management, or related fields
  • Expert knowledge of Lean Portfolio Management and SAFe principles
  • Experience with Power BI or another reporting tool
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.

In our vision to be First with Co-Workers, compensation is only one piece of the comprehensive total rewards package we offer. The target base salary range for this position is $88,000 to $113,500. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
