Job summary

Carle Health in Illinois is seeking a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) reviewer to authorize Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plans (IATP). Under supervision, you review documents, guide clinicians, and ensure IATP compliance.

You will perform behavioral health assessments, provide crisis evaluation and intervention, and coordinate treatment with care teams, community partners, and emergency services, while meeting documentation and productivity standards.

Qualifications

Master’s degree required.
LCPC, LCSW, and/or LMFT licenses required.
Two years of behavioral health experience.
Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans.

Responsibilities

Serve as the LPHA for Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plans (IATP) and ensure regulatory compliance.
Provide clinical feedback to clinicians to support medical necessity and diagnosis.
Complete risk assessments, safety planning, and appropriate screening tools.
Document activities related to review and authorization of the IATP.
Perform diagnostic assessments and determine immediate treatment plan needs.
Coordinate with emergency services and crisis teams for at-risk clients.
Provide behavioral health therapy to individuals, families, and groups as needed.
Maintain records per policies and regulatory requirements.
