Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an LPHA Reviewer to serve as the Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts for Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plans. You will review, guide, and supervise clinical activities to ensure medical necessity and compliant care for behavioral health patients.

Based in Illinois, you will collaborate with clinicians, coordinate treatment plans, and provide crisis evaluation as needed to support safety and quality of care for individuals and groups with behavioral health

Qualifications

Two years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving to client situations.
Ability to assess and diagnose, develop treatment plans and interventions.
Strong written and oral communication; ability to provide clinical guidance to others.

Responsibilities

Acts as LPHA for Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plan (IATP) ensuring regulatory compliance.
Provides clinical feedback to clinicians to ensure medical necessity and proper diagnosis.
Completes risk assessments and safety planning.
Ensures completion of screening and assessment tools for treatment planning.
Documents all activities related to IATP review and authorization.
Performs diagnostic assessments and determines immediate treatment needs.
Requests medical consultation as indicated.
Develops treatment plans with patient goals/objectives.
Provides behavioral health therapy to individuals, families, or groups.
Coordinates with emergency/crisis services when needed.
Maintains records per policies and oversight requirements.
Liaises with community agencies, primary care, and managed-care entities.
