Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) reviewer to authorize Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plans in outpatient community services. You will provide clinical guidance, ensure medical necessity, and coordinate risk assessments and safety planning for patients with behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required.
• Two years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ethical practice.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the LPHA for Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plans.
• Provide clinical feedback to ensure medical necessity and diagnosis.
• Ensure appropriate treatment recommendations and risk safety planning.
• Complete required screening and assessment tools for treatment planning.
• Document activities related to IATP review and authorization.
• Perform diagnostic assessments and determine immediate treatment plan needs.
• Coordinate with emergency/crisis services as needed.
• Maintain records per policies and regulatory standards.
• Supervise clinicians or students as needed.
