Job summary

The Neighborhood Clinic in Northwest TX is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) to join our growing team. This role provides meaningful work supporting individuals and families while developing clinical skills under experienced supervision.

You will deliver individual, group, and family counseling, create treatment plans, document accurately, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Texas licensure requirements apply, with supervision by an LPC-S.

Qualifications

• Active LPC-Associate (LPC-A) license issued by the State of Texas.
• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Ability to work under supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered approach.
• Experience or coursework in trauma-informed care or CBT preferred.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling services to a diverse client population.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and agency standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate client care and referrals.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision as required by LPC-A licensure guidelines.
• Apply evidence-based therapeutic modalities to support client mental health goals.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards set by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.
