Job summary

Divergent in Los Angeles is hiring for Assembly & Test Technician I–IV to support hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of large LPBF 3D printer sub-assemblies. You will work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to translate designs into production-ready hardware.

Roles span Technician I–IV levels, with emphasis on precision assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and adherence to manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Relevant hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, electromechanical integration, manufacturing, equipment build, testing, or a related technical field.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications, travelers, or controlled documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document work and maintain traceability.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate mechanical and electromechanical sub-assemblies per drawings and travelers.
• Perform functional and acceptance testing of sub-assemblies and verify dimensions.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and participate in rework and corrective actions.
• Maintain ERP/MES documentation of work orders, materials, and inspection results.
• Support continuous improvement of assembly, test methods, and instructions.
