Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a propane outside sales representative responsible for delivering to residential, commercial, and farm accounts within the assigned territory.

You will build a customer base through prospecting and provide exceptional service, including answering inquiries and delivering on-time, safe propane. The role requires a valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, proficient computer skills, and a strong customer-service orientation.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience and territory knowledge preferred.
• Proficient verbal and written communication.
• Ability to obtain Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.

• Detail oriented with ability to prioritize.

Responsibilities

Job DescriptionPosition Overview: The key responsibilities of this position are outside sales of propane gas to residential, commercial and farm accounts from initial contact through to delivery, which may include tank setting and service.Duties and Responsibilities: Include but are not limited toDeliver propane to customer locations in an efficient, punctual and safe mannerDuring daily interaction with customers, provide exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiresBuild customer base within sales territory by utilizing various sales techniques, including prospecting (cold calls)Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company proceduresOperate truck in accordance to established safety proceduresPerform installation, removal and service as neededProvide back up to Energy department as neededSkills and Qualifications:Acceptable driving record and able to obtain Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsementsProficient computer skillsProficient verbal and written communication skillsDetail oriented and ability to prioritizeEducation and Experience:High School diploma or equivalentOutside sales experience and territory knowledge is a plusPhysical Requirements:Ability to walk 1 to 5 miles, climb steps/ ladders and lift up to 75lbsBending and climbing in and out of the truck
