Job summary

Zeta Global is seeking a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Loyalty product within the Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP). You will own architecture, roadmap, and delivery for core loyalty features, driving complex initiatives across multiple engineering teams.

This technical leadership role requires involvement in architecture, design reviews, and production operations while developing engineers and ensuring scalable, reliable Loyalty capabilities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience building and operating large-scale distributed platforms or multi-tenant SaaS systems.
• Experience leading engineering teams responsible for application full-stack development.
• Strong technical expertise in distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and shared platform services.
• Experience designing and operating highly available production services.
• Experience partnering with multiple engineering teams to deliver shared capabilities.
• Strong operational knowledge of observability, incident management, and production readiness.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and grow technical leaders.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical direction for the Loyalty product and related domains.
• Translate product strategy into executable engineering roadmaps.
• Plan quarterly work and deliver with high quality and on time.
• Drive design for services, APIs, schemas, and background jobs.
• Review designs for alignment with platform architecture and standards.
• Identify scalability, reliability, security, and maintenance risks.
• Champion reusable solutions and minimize duplication across features.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of engineers and technical leads.
• Coach and develop engineers through mentoring and feedback.
• Establish ownership, accountability, and engineering best practices.
