Job summary

Zeta Global is seeking a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager to lead a core area of the ZMP platform. You will own architecture, roadmap, and delivery across multiple platform domains, guiding teams to build reusable services and secure, scalable infrastructure.

Reporting to the SVP Engineering, you will remain hands-on with architecture reviews while mentoring engineers and delivering platform capabilities that improve developer productivity at scale.

Qualifications

• Significant experience building and operating large-scale distributed platforms.
• Experience leading engineering teams responsible for platform, backend, or infrastructure services.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and shared platform services.
• Experience designing and operating highly available production services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and technical direction for assigned platform domains.
• Translate platform strategy into executable engineering roadmaps.
• Drive design for shared services, APIs, schemas, and reusable platform capabilities.
• Review designs for alignment with platform architecture and engineering standards.
• Identify scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability risks.
• Coach and develop engineers through mentoring and feedback.
• Establish ownership and engineering best practices within the team.
• Deliver platform capabilities that accelerate product development.
• Measure success via adoption, reliability, and developer productivity.
