Job summary

Emerging Travel Group seeks a Data Analyst to optimize loyalty and retention mechanics that drive bookings and profitability. You will segment partners, run experiments, build financial models, and translate findings into actionable rules for Retention, Commercial and Finance teams.

You’ll need strong SQL skills, experience with BI tools (Tableau/Looker/Power BI), and comfort with large, messy data. Remote-friendly role with flexible schedules and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years as a data/marketing/product analyst, in e-commerce/travel/fintech or marketplace.
• Explains findings clearly to non-technical people and turns ambiguous questions into structured plans.
• English level B2+ (written and spoken).
• Strong SQL: window functions, CTEs, query optimization. Experience with Vertica, Trino, PostgreSQL or similar.
• Solid A/B testing: experiment design, power and significance, unit of randomization, interpreting results.
• Experience with a BI tool: Tableau/Looker/Power BI.
• Can work with large, messy data with business logic in free-text fields and edge cases.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code or similar agentic coding tools (Cursor, Copilot).
• Comfort building financial/scenario models in spreadsheets with adjustable parameters.
• Proactive approach: automate/reporting workflows and create reusable queries/templates.
