Job summary

The Shefa School seeks a Lower School Lead Teacher to serve as a Leave Replacement from January through the end of the school year. This full-time role may be considered part-time; strong collaboration with faculty and families is essential.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of classroom teaching, experience with language-based learning disabilities, multisensory instruction, and a valid Special Education certification and/or a relevant Master’s Degree.

Qualifications

• Experience with multisensory instruction in diverse learners.
• 3+ years of teaching experience in lower school settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in reading, writing, math and Judaic studies.
• Assess student learning and progress regularly.
• Manage classroom routines and behavior effectively.
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families.
