The Quad Preparatory School is seeking a full-time Leave Replacement ELA teacher for middle school. You will provide instruction in English language arts and literature, supporting twice-exceptional students with social-emotional and academic needs.

Classrooms are small to promote personalized learning, with mentorship from clinicians and administrators. Qualifications include a relevant Bachelor’s degree and experience or training in special education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English education, English literature, special education or related field required.
• One year of full-time teaching experience at upper elementary, middle, or high school levels preferred.
• Master’s degree or relevant special education training highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement differentiated ELA instruction for middle school students.
• Regularly assess progress and communicate results to parents.
• Collaborate with clinicians to support social-emotional learning.
• Maintain organized records and lesson documentation.
• Attend required meetings and professional development.
