Montessori Children’s House (MCH) is seeking a Lower Elementary teacher for the 2025-26 school year. MCH offers a progressive and comprehensive curriculum built on the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori to children aged two and a half years through twelve, or pre-primary through sixth grade. MCH also offers Before and After school and summer camp. MCH is located in the beautiful and historical small city of Providence, RI, and boasts a diverse community of learners.

Description: The Lower Elementary Teacher is a full-time, 10-month position. The Lower Elementary Teacher will work in partnership with the Elementary teaching team and the Head of School to educate and support Lower Elementary students in accordance with the principles of Montessori educational philosophy and teaching practices, and the mission, the curriculum, and the policies of Montessori Children’s House. The Teacher is responsible for the teaching of all curriculum areas including Practical Life, Language, Sensorial, Math, Science, History and Geography studies, along with emotional and social skills.
