Responsibilities include cash handling, verifying ages, and collaborating with staff to deliver memorable experiences while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have completed mixology or barkeeping training.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives orders from patrons and waitstaff.
• Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
• Ensures garnishes are prepared ahead of opening.
• Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized.
• Displays glasses and liquor bottles attractively.
• Keeps bar supplied with snacks.
• Checks IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Collects money for drinks prepared and served.
• Refuses service to intoxicated or disruptive patrons when needed.
• Submit orders or create requisitions for liquor, beer, and bar supplies.
• Exhibits extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service.
• Provides excellent interpersonal service and focuses on customer satisfaction.
• Remains calm with unruly patrons.
• Learns cash register software used by bar or restaurant.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Receives orders from patrons and waitstaff.
• Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
• Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar.
• Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized.
• Attractively displays glasses and liquor bottles.
• Keeps bar supplied with snacks.
• Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.
• Collects money from customers for drinks prepared and served.
• Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.
• Submits orders or creates requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies.
• Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly and argumentative patrons.
• Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant.
