Job summary

Three Oaks Hospitality is seeking a bartender to contribute to guest experiences through expert drink preparation and attentive service. You will take orders from patrons and staff, prepare a wide range of beverages, and maintain an organized, welcoming bar area.

The role requires high school level education or equivalent, mixology training, and at least one year of bartending experience. You’ll need to handle payments, verify ages, and stay composed with challenging customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of mixology training is required.
• At least one year of bartending experience preferred.
• Must be of legal drinking age.

Responsibilities

• Receives orders from patrons and waitstaff.
• Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks.
• Ensures garnishes are prepared ahead of opening.
• Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized.
• Attractively displays glasses and liquor bottles.
• Keeps bar stocked with snacks.
• Verifies age by checking photo IDs.
• Collects money for drinks and processes payments.
• Refuses service to intoxicated or disruptive patrons.
• Submits orders or requisitions for bar supplies.
• Demonstrates extensive knowledge of drink preparation.
• Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills and customer focus.
• Stays calm when dealing with unruly patrons.
• Learns cash register software used by bar/restaurant.

• Receives orders from patrons and waitstaff.
• Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
• Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar.
• Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized.
• Attractively displays glasses and liquor bottles.
• Keeps bar supplied with snacks.
• Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.
• Collects money from customers for drinks prepared and served.
• Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.
• Submits orders or creates requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies.
• Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly and argumentative patrons.
• Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant.
