Job summary

MetroPower, Inc. is seeking a qualified Structured Cabling Technician for our Employee-Owned Low Voltage Systems Division in the Jacksonville, FL area. You will use your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to deliver exceptional customer service, install and troubleshoot low voltage cabling, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect work areas and complete Job Hazard Analysis prior to starting any work.
• Review and process work and plan ahead, coordinate equipment, supplies, tools, manage schedule/scheduling impacts.
• Install equipment, install cable while adhering to codes, regulations, and standards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to quick resolutions.
• Complete post installation paperwork and coordinate with supervisor for inspections.
• Ensure First Class customer service is provided for superior customer satisfaction.
• Know industry standards/color codes/cable & testing.
