Job summary

NORLEE INVESTMENTS LLC in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Low Voltage Technician responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and maintaining low-voltage systems across commercial facilities, including BAS, access control, security, and communications. Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of combined experience in commercial low-voltage installation, structured cabling, BAS, access control, security, or related fields.
• Completion of an accredited low-voltage, telecommunications, electrical, or controls training program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling and systems in commercial buildings.
• Install and support structured cabling infrastructure, including Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A, fiber optics, patch panels, racks, cable trays, and related components.
• Install, configure, and support BAS, access control, security, surveillance, intercom, and communications systems per project requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, riser diagrams, wiring diagrams, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Route, pull, support, and secure low-voltage cabling through ceilings, walls, conduits, cable trays, etc.
• Perform cable testing, continuity testing, device verification, labeling, and quality control inspections.
