Job summary

ADT is seeking an on-site installer to deliver and support low-voltage systems in residential and commercial environments. You will install wiring, test systems, and ensure reliable operation while educating customers on features and basic troubleshooting.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, a customer-first approach, and the ability to manage time in a fast-paced setting, including evenings and weekends when needed. A valid driver's license and safe driving record are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (locations may require additional licensing).
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics.
  • Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-first communication style.
  • Self-directed with solid time management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install low-voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans.
  • Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections including monitoring center communication.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality.

What you will do

You’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through the installation and support of advanced low‑voltage systems (under 50V). You’ll work hands‑on in customer homes, ensuring systems are installed, tested, and configured for optimal performance and reliability. You’ll be at the forefront of building customer trust through quality workmanship, technical expertise, and clear communication. You will:
