Job summary

ADT is seeking a field installer to deliver and support low-voltage systems in customers’ homes. You will install wiring, mount devices, test systems, and ensure reliability while educating customers on features and basic troubleshooting.

Join a team focused on quality workmanship, safety, and clear communication. This role may require evenings, weekends, and driving to various sites with a company vehicle provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics.
• Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-first communication.
• Self-directed with solid time management.

Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans.
• Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections including monitoring center communication.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality.

What you will do

You’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through the installation and support of advanced low‑voltage systems (under 50V). You’ll work hands‑on in customer homes, ensuring systems are installed, tested, and configured for optimal performance and reliability. You’ll be at the forefront of building customer trust through quality workmanship, technical expertise, and clear communication.
