Job summary

TEKsystems is looking for a professional to manage commercial structured cabling projects from start to finish. This entails reading and executing from prints, establishing cable pathways, and performing thorough testing using Fluke testers.

The ideal candidate has experience in a healthcare environment, is flexible with night shifts and out-of-town travel, and is comfortable leading teams. The position offers a pay range of $24.00 to $32.00 per hour and a full range of medical benefits.

Qualifications

• Intermediate level experience in structured cabling projects.
• Ability to read and execute prints and drawings.
• Experience in troubleshooting cabling and test failures.

Description

Run commercial structured cabling projects from start to finish, read and execute from prints and drawings, establish and manage cable pathways, pull, dress, label and terminate copper cabling, build and organize telecom/comm rooms, perform testing using Fluke testers, properly set up, correct cable IDs, accurate project naming, troubleshoot cabling and test failures, lead and manage crews, keep teams productive, ensure quality workmanship, provide daily progress reports (cable counts, work completed, issues or delays).
