Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital seeks an AV support technician to maintain and operate audio/visual systems across meeting spaces, classrooms and auditoriums. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, TV and security systems in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires a GED, 2 years of low voltage experience, and preferred healthcare AV familiarity. NICET I certification is required upon hire where applicable.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 2 years of experience with low voltage systems (fire alarm, nurse call, paging, TV distribution, tube system).
• Healthcare experience and AV equipment management experience preferred.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited trade/vocational schools Preferred

Work Experience

• 2 years experience with low voltage systems (fire alarm, nurse call, paging, TV signal distribution and tube system) Required
• Experience in healthcare Preferred
• Experience with managing AV equipment and software Preferred
• Some experience with video production equipment and video and audio editing Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Level I certification by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) in Fire Alarm Systems and/or Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems Upon Hire Required
