Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced audiovisual technician to provide support for its meeting spaces, classrooms and auditoriums. The role requires maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, TV and security systems to ensure reliable operation for events and daily use.

Candidates should have 2 years of experience with low voltage systems and NICET Level I certification. Healthcare experience and AV software proficiency are preferred, with familiarity in video

Responsibilities

Provides audio/visual support for Piedmont Atlanta's audio/visual meeting spaces, classrooms and auditoriums. Maintains and repairs mechanical, electrical, plumbing, TV, and security systems in the facility

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Graduate of an accredited trade/vocational schools Preferred

Work Experience

• 2 years experience with low voltage systems (fire alarm, nurse call, paging, TV signal distribution and tube system) Required
• Experience in healthcare Preferred
• Experience with managing AV equipment and software Preferred
• Some experience with video production equipment and video and audio editing Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Level I certification by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) in Fire Alarm Systems and/or Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems Upon Hire Required
