Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a qualified Maintenance Tech/Electrician to install, maintain and repair wiring, electrical equipment and fixtures. The role also covers mechanical, plumbing, TV and security systems, ensuring life safety code compliance.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED; electrician program is a plus. A minimum of 3 years in maintenance with electrical experience is required, with substitutions possible for electrician program graduates.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Maintenance Tech experience with electrical work.
• Experience may be substituted if graduate from Electrician program.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining and repairing wiring, electrical equipment and fixtures.

• Maintains the facility in accordance with DNV guidelines and Life Safety Codes.
• Perform hands-on duties including service orders, preventative maintenance and various other requests, verbal and written.
