Qualifications

• 2+ years of low voltage electrical experience.
• Knowledge of NEC and industry standards, including BICSI.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems, including: Structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6 and fiber optics), CCTV, access control, and intrusion alarm systems, Fire alarm systems, Audio/visual and communication systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform system testing, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Use testing equipment such as cable testers, multimeters, and OTDRs.
• Ensure installations comply with applicable NEC, BICSI, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate installation, repair, and inspection documentation.
• Support system upgrades, retrofits, and other duties as assigned.
