Job summary

Lane Electronics & Alarm Systems Inc. is seeking a qualified Low Voltage Technician based in Winter Park, FL, with travel to customer sites.

Install, inspect, troubleshoot, service, and maintain low voltage systems for residential and commercial customers including fire alarm, access control, CCTV, gates, and other electronics. Candidates should have 5+ years' experience, strong IP networking skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with low-voltage systems.
• Experience with fire alarm, access control, CCTV or related technologies preferred.
• IP-based networking knowledge related to low-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, service, and maintain low voltage systems for residential and commercial customers.
• Work with fire alarm systems, access control, automatic gates, CCTV, security alarms, and other electronic systems.
• Diagnose equipment and system issues, complete repairs and routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot IP-based CCTV, access control, or other network-connected low voltage systems.
• Complete service documentation and job records accurately.
• Communicate professionally with customers about system performance and recommendations.
• Work independently or with other technicians; maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle.
• Follow safety procedures and industry best practices.
