Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain Florida State JLA badge.
• 2+ years in a tech role.
• 2+ years in commercial building construction: structured cabling, security, access control, CCTV, A/V, Nurse Call, sound masking.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Willing to travel up to 50%.
• Able to stand, kneel, crouch for long periods.
• Able to climb ladders/scaffolding and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in varied environments with appropriate safety dress.

Responsibilities

• Install card readers, door contacts, intercoms, motion Rex, nurse call, and patient stations.
• Install and terminate low voltage cabling and test end-user devices.
• Site communications with supervision and plan adherence to drawings/specs.
• Follow industry standards and approved installation methods.
• Ensure compliance with AHJ codes and safety practices.
• Maintain communication with supervisor on quality, schedule, and materials.
