Job summary

MetroPower ESS is seeking an entry-level Low Voltage Systems Engineer I. You will start with a six‑month field training program, working with technicians and engineers to gain hands‑on experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of low voltage systems.

After training, you will focus on developing system designs, shop drawings, and documentation for low voltage construction projects, coordinating with managers and trades while growing technical and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or recent grad in Electrical/related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience encouraged.
• Strong reading of technical drawings and specs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist field technicians during initial field training and learn low voltage systems.
• Develop engineering designs, shop drawings, and installation details for low voltage projects.
• Prepare as‑built drawings and project closeout documentation.
• Provide technical support to project managers and field teams.
