Envelop Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a driven student for a paid internship as a Low-voltage Systems Design Engineering Intern. You will help design solutions for audio visual, security, and fire suppression systems while gaining exposure to solution design, proposal development, and field work.

This paid internship runs May to August 2027, up to 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks. Local candidates preferred; US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Current junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering design or electrical engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Growth mindset with a focus on learning and improvement.
• US work authorization and no sponsorship requirement for Envelop Group.
• Preference for local candidates; no relocation or housing stipend.

Responsibilities

• Assist design of low-voltage and building systems.
• Support proposal development and field work.
• Develop drawings, specifications, and schematics for installations.
• Learn from experienced design engineers and sales professionals.
• Shadow installation and project teams on-site.
