Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Inspector to perform routine inspections, testing and preventive maintenance on electrical, sprinkler and suppression life safety product lines. The role involves working with low voltage wiring, completing service acknowledgments, and adhering to a strict inspection schedule.

The position requires Massachusetts Low Voltage Class D license, NICET Level II in the future, and the ability to travel and lift equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in low voltage electrical systems and fire/security systems required.
• Burglar Alarm experience required.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
• Massachusetts Low Voltage Class D License required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Inspectors conduct routine inspections, testing, service and preventive maintenance on electrical, sprinkler or suppression life safety product lines and similar products.
• Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices for operation of low voltage equipment.
• Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding via laptop or paper.
• Maintain a structured inspection schedule and archive documents.
• Complete inspections on time and assist with additional duties as assigned.
