The role requires strong technical knowledge of low voltage systems, vendor coordination, and a proven ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in low voltage systems (structured cabling, security, AV, or similar).
• 3+ years of project management and/or estimating experience.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Experience with estimating software and project management tools (Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, or similar).
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for low voltage systems including structured cabling, security, access control, AV, and fire alarm.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop scope and pricing.
• Perform takeoffs and quantify materials, labor, and equipment.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives.
• Participate in bid reviews and proposal presentations.
• Manage multiple low-voltage projects from kickoff through completion.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, and internal teams.
• Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractors.
• Track project progress, costs, and profitability.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Handle change orders, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates.
• Provide technical guidance on system design and installation.
• Support field teams to ensure proper installation and code compliance.
• Conduct site visits and inspections as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
