Low Voltage Equipment Service Technician

Position Overview

Our Procedural Service Technicians build trust through exceptional service, performing equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation primarily in hospital environments under strict regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive Customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
2. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on medical equipment, using technical manuals and test tools.
3. Conduct Customer training and in-service on equipment.
4. Ensure positive Customer experiences during installations and site visits.
5. Utilize technology for administrative tasks, documentation, and communication.
6. Maintain effective relationships with Customers and internal teams.
7. Identify sales opportunities and promote STERIS products/services.
8. Follow hospital protocols and safety procedures.
9. Assist with inventory management and purchase order resolution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, with at least 2 years of mechanical/technical experience.
• Customer service and team engagement skills.
• Basic computer skills and effective communication abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet credentialing requirements.
• Flexible work hours, including overnight travel.
• Technical certifications or military experience considered advantageous.
