Job summary

Kidwell is seeking a Data Center Low Voltage Technician to join our team in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, with travel to additional Data Center locations as needed. You will be part of a cohesive team focused on high-quality installations and customer interactions.

The role requires a BICSI accreditation or 4+ years of field experience, and a current State Apprentice License or the ability to obtain one upon employment. We offer competitive pay and a robust benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Assists and reports to the Senior Cabling Technician in installation and diagnostic maintenance of premises cabling equipment according to contract and customer needs.
• Installation, termination, and testing of copper or fiber optic low voltage cabling systems.
• Assist with installation of cable trays, racks, and other support structures.
• Grounding and bonding responsibilities.
• Installation of network switches.
• Learn and retain a basic working knowledge of company sales products.
• Collaborate with Telecommunications Technicians and installers on projects.

What You’ll Do

Do You Have What it Takes?

• Candidates preferably will possess a BICSI Technician accreditation or equivalent or 4 years of experience
• Candidates must possess a current State of Apprentice License or apply for one upon employment
