Job summary

Universal Cabling Systems is seeking a dedicated cabling technician to install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage voice/data, audio/visual, and security cabling systems on customer sites.

The role requires on-site work at customer locations with travel to various sites, and the ability to meet physical demands. A high school diploma or GED is required, plus prior cabling experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year structured cabling technician experience preferred.
• 1 year experience installing voice and data systems in a commercial environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot and maintain low voltage voice/data, audio/visual, and security cable systems.
• Pull, route, install and terminate structured cabling infrastructure in commercial environments.
• Test cables, troubleshoot and document networking issues; install data line support structures.
