Job summary

Next Level Technician is seeking a Low Voltage Cable Technician in Aspers, PA to install and test structured cabling systems for commercial projects. You will handle CAT6/CAT6A cabling, fiber optics, and related hardware, ensuring safety and adherence to blueprints.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in low voltage, familiarity with voice/data/security systems, and basic tools plus PPE. Travel to Texas sites may be required, with weekly pay and benefits as highlighted by the employer.

Qualifications

• 3+ years commercial/industrial low voltage experience.
• Valcom speaker systems experience a plus.
• Structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems familiarity.
• BICSI, Lift, OSHA certifications a plus.
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots).
• Working knowledge of telecom/data networks.
• Willingness to travel to job sites within Texas as needed.

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT6/CAT6A cable.
• Pull, terminate, and test fiber optic cabling.
• Test installed cable with Fluke or similar testers.
• Punch down voice and data jacks on panels and racks.
• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF.

Low Voltage Cable Technician - Structured Cabling - Aspers PA

Earn $23-$30/hr, enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady work with a national leader.

Responsibilities:

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT6/CAT6A cable
• Pull, terminate, and test fiber optic cabling
• Fusion splicing experience is a PLUS
• Test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers)
• Punch down voice and data jacks
• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
• Read and interpret blueprints/system layouts

Requirements:

• 3+ years commercial/industrial low voltage experience
• Installation experience of Valcom speaker systems is a PLUS
• Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred
• BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
• Working knowledge of telecom/data networks
• Willingness to travel to job sites within Texas as needed
