Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co. in Vista, CA is seeking an entry-level installer helper to support low voltage system installations including fire alarm, security, access control, data networking, and PA systems.

You will assist in assembling control equipment and components and work under the supervision of a qualified journeyman on local field installations. A valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a path into a certified low‑voltage apprenticeship are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid California driver’s license and insurance.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing low voltage electrical systems such as fire alarm, security, access control, data/networking, and PA systems.
• Assist the assembly of control equipment and components as required for a complete installation.
• Provide assistance to a qualified journeyman on field installation projects in the local area.
